Barbie has partnered with renowned Indian fashion designer Anita Dongre to launch its first-ever Barbie Signature Diwali doll, blending the richness of Indian tradition with Barbie’s iconic global appeal. Priced at Rs 1,999, the special edition doll will be available globally starting October 4, 2024, through leading toy retailers both online and offline.

In honor of Diwali, the Barbie Signature Diwali doll wears a beautifully crafted Moonlight Bloom lehenga, designed by Anita Dongre. The ensemble includes a traditional choli top, floral Koti vest, and a lehenga skirt adorned with intricate motifs of dahlias, jasmine, and the Indian lotus. The look is completed with a bindi, gold bangles, and earrings, symbolizing Indian artistry and craftsmanship.

Anita Dongre shared her excitement about the collaboration, saying, “Through this Diwali celebration, Barbie and I are inspiring fans worldwide to embrace the elegance of Indian fashion and culture.
