In a strategic move for wellness innovation, South Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has officially joined aromatherapy brand Secret Alchemist as a co-founder. Launched in 2021 by Ankita Thadani and Akash Valia, Secret Alchemist is dedicated to promoting holistic well-being through its diverse range of wellness products.
Although the exact figure of Prabhu’s investment has not been disclosed, the funds are aimed at bolstering marketing initiatives and expanding the brand’s reach among customers. The company announced her partnership with enthusiasm, stating, “The ‘Secret’ is officially out! We are thrilled to welcome Samantha Ruth Prabhu to our team as a co-founder. Thadani noted that Samantha’s personal journey with aromatherapy aligns perfectly with the brand’s commitment to tackling wellness at its core.
In conjunction with this announcement, Secret Alchemist successfully raised $500,000 in a seed funding round, with Inflection Point Ventures leading the investment. Notable contributions also came from Pharmeasy founder Siddharth Shah and Plix founder Rishubh Satiya. This financial boost comes at a crucial time as the company prepares for the bustling festive season ahead.
