AugurAI Raises ₹2 Crore From Campus Angels Network To Scale AI-Powered Industrial Inspection

Tiruchirappalli-based deeptech startup AugurAI has raised ₹2 crore from Campus Angels Network, with the entire round backed by its investors. Founded in 2022 by Dr. Ravishankar Rajagopalan, the company develops optics-first AI visual inspection systems that combine precision imaging hardware, specialised lighting and AI software to detect manufacturing defects.

With reported inspection accuracy of over 99.9% in live deployments, AugurAI's solutions are being used by manufacturers including JSW, ZF Rane and Brakes India. The fresh capital will support product development, R&D and expansion of sales and execution as the startup targets larger multi-line and multi-plant deployments.
