Daksham Capital Launches ₹150 Cr Consumer Fund With ₹150 Cr Greenshoe

A multi-family office has launched a fund to back India’s consumer brands. Daksham Capital’s maiden consumer fund, Daksham Growth Ventures Fund I, has a target corpus of ₹150 crore plus a ₹150 crore greenshoe option, and has secured about ₹125 crore in its first close from family offices, high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs. Led by cofounder and managing partner Shivam Diwan, the fund plans to invest ₹5 crore to ₹20 crore each in 10 to 15 startups, mainly at the Pre-Series A and Series A stages.
It will back D2C brands, consumer enablers such as contract manufacturers and supply-chain businesses, B2B2C platforms and startups using AI in consumer services, in categories including food and beverages, apparel, beauty and personal care, and jewellery. The fund looks for startups with established product-market fit and annual recurring revenue of ₹25–75 crore, and has not yet made an investment.
