Arrowhead AI Launches Fletch, Its 14-Language Voice AI Model

Bengaluru-based AI startup Arrowhead AI has launched Fletch, an in-house text-to-speech model designed for multilingual customer conversations across India and Southeast Asia. Supporting 14 languages, the model can switch between languages within a sentence and adapt its vocal tone to the context of a conversation. It is designed to handle regional accents, code-mixed speech and Indian names, addressing challenges that generic voice models often struggle with.

Fletch is already deployed across Arrowhead's live customer-calling platform, which reportedly handles more than one million calls daily across sales, collections, renewals and customer service. The model reportedly operates at around 80 milliseconds of latency and offers 12 emotional styles, with approximately 30% better pronunciation accuracy on selected names and terms. Founded by Devyani Gupta and Vengadanathan Srinivasan, Arrowhead is building its own speech technology stack to expand its voice AI capabilities across regional and international markets.
