Sachin Bansal's Navi Moves Closer to $100 Million Prosus Investment

Bengaluru-based fintech company Navi, founded by Sachin Bansal and Ankit Agarwal, has moved a step closer to securing a $100 million investment from global technology investor Prosus after receiving approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI). The regulator cleared the proposed acquisition of a shareholding in Navi by MIH Payments Holdings BV, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Prosus. The investment was first announced in August 2026 and marks Navi's first institutional capital raise.

The proposed investment is expected to support Navi's continued growth across digital lending, UPI payments, insurance and mutual funds. Navi's lending arm, Navi Finserv, had assets under management of over ₹13,000 crore, as reported during the August funding announcement. The CCI approval marks an important regulatory milestone, although the transaction remains subject to the remaining closing conditions.
