Zelio E-Mobility Expands Annual Production Capacity To 3.12 Lakh Units
Indian electric vehicle manufacturer Zelio E-Mobility has commenced commercial production at its new manufacturing facility in Patan, Hisar, Haryana, adding 72,000 units of annual production capacity. The ₹20 crore-plus investment takes its total installed capacity from 2.4 lakh to approximately 3.12 lakh electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers annually.
The new facility will manufacture electric scooters under the Zelio brand and electric three-wheelers under Tanga. The expansion is expected to strengthen supply efficiency, improve dealer replenishment and support the company’s growth across Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets.
With more than 400 dealers across 25+ states and a target of over 550 dealerships by FY27, Zelio is scaling its manufacturing footprint alongside its distribution network. The challenge now is to translate additional capacity into sustained demand, utilization and profitable growth.
