Kubo Care Is Using Radar Technology To Make Senior Care Safer And Less Intrusive
Nov 5, 20261 min read0

Bengaluru-based healthtech startup Kubo Care has developed a 60 GHz millimetre-wave (mmWave) radar system that monitors seniors’ movement and detects falls without relying on cameras or wearable devices. Founded by Ayush Agrawal and Anurag Ram Chandran, the startup uses AI to analyse movement patterns and identify sudden falls, while also tracking changes in everyday routines.
The company says its system can detect falls in less than a second and its patented technology reduces false alarms by over 99%. Currently pre-revenue, Kubo Care is conducting pilots in India, Japan and the US, with plans to expand its B2B presence in senior living facilities and prepare for a direct-to-consumer launch.
