BlackBuck’s Q2 FY27 Revenue Jumps 56% To ₹235 Crore, But Expenses Rise Faster

BlackBuck, the Bengaluru-based digital trucking platform, reported a 56% year-on-year jump in revenue from operations to ₹235.3 crore in Q2 FY27, while consolidated net profit climbed 42% to ₹41.4 crore. However, total expenses grew 64% to ₹210.3 crore, outpacing revenue growth and highlighting the cost of scaling its business.

A key growth driver was BlackBuck’s growth businesses, including freight-matching platform Superloads and vehicle financing, which recorded 166% revenue growth to ₹73.9 crore. Meanwhile, the core payments and telematics business grew 31%. The profit increase also benefited from a significantly lower tax expense, while profit before tax rose just 10%. The bigger question now is whether BlackBuck can sustain its growth while improving operational efficiency.
