IIT Madras Student Kuldeep Rathore Has Raised $1.1 Million for SamanNow’s Quick-Commerce Expansion

IIT Madras student and entrepreneur Kuldeep Rathore’s SamanNow has raised $1.1 million in pre-seed funding, with backing from Antler, Titan Capital and All In Capital. The quick-commerce startup aims to bring 60-minute delivery of everyday essentials to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, targeting consumers beyond India’s major metros.

SamanNow is betting on a value-first approach, using efficient sourcing and supply-chain capabilities to make shopping more affordable and convenient. With quick commerce expanding its reach, the bigger challenge will be balancing competitive pricing, delivery speed and sustainable unit economics. Can smaller cities become the next growth engine for India’s quick-commerce sector?
