Hyderabad-Based LogiXair Secures GrowthCap Ventures Backing to Build Cargo Aircraft

Hyderabad-based deep-tech startup LogiXair has secured seed investment from GrowthCap Ventures, alongside angel investors with professional backgrounds at Honeywell Aerospace, to advance the development of its autonomous hybrid-electric cargo aircraft. Founded by Bhanu Teja Chidura and Pulla Kapil, the company is developing vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft designed to transport cargo between major cities, industrial hubs and smaller towns without depending on conventional runways.
Its L560 aircraft is designed to carry up to 300 kg of cargo over a distance of 600 km. LogiXair has validated its hybrid-electric powertrain, flight-tested sub-scale prototypes and developed six intellectual-property assets at Technology Readiness Level 6. The investment will support further engineering development, technology validation and commercialisation as the startup works towards building an autonomous aerial logistics network.
