Bihar Startup Sarva Suvidhaen Uses AI And IoT To Modernise Indian Railways

A Bihar startup is using computer vision to spot defects in railway wagons. Patna-based Sarva Suvidhaen, founded in 2021, builds AI and IoT tools for Indian Railways, according to YourStory. One of them, WagonEye, uses computer vision to detect wagon defects quickly, while RailOps helps track fieldwork across multiple locations. The startup began by bootstrapping and later received ₹10 lakh in funding from Startup Bihar and about ₹1 crore in Google Cloud credits.
The company says its turnover reached about ₹1.16 crore in FY2025–26, up from about ₹57 lakh reported by Bihar’s Department of Industries in 2025. It plans to take its technology beyond railways into logistics, healthcare and smart cities.
