IIT Kanpur-incubated agritech startup ScaNxt Scientific Technologies, founded by Rajat Vardhan, has secured investment from Rainmatter by Zerodha, SIDBI and Exim Bank. The investment amount remains undisclosed. The startup develops technology-driven solutions for agriculture, including Bhu-Parikshak, a portable soil-testing device that uses near-infrared spectroscopy and machine learning, alongside AI-powered pest detection and crop advisory solutions.
With nearly 90,000 farmers registered and more than 200 B2B customers across 21+ states, ScaNxt plans to use the investment to strengthen R&D, accelerate product development and expand its distribution network in India and international markets. Its portfolio also includes electric farm mechanisation and smart solar drying technologies, aimed at making precision agriculture more accessible to farmers.
