How Bengaluru’s Wellfed Built a ₹56 Lakh Business With Its Healthy Meal Subscription Model

Bengaluru-based Wellfed, founded by former IT professionals Diya Krishnakumar and Adithya Natarajan, is making everyday nutrition more convenient through its meal subscription service. Bootstrapped with ₹15 lakh, the startup offers protein-focused, home-style meals to busy professionals, with monthly subscriptions priced at ₹269 per meal.

Since launching in September 2024, Wellfed has served 1,500+ customers and delivered 55,000+ meals, according to its founders. The business generated approximately ₹45 lakh in its first year and recorded ₹56 lakh in revenue through September 2026. With plans to expand delivery coverage across Bengaluru and eventually enter Hyderabad, Wellfed’s next challenge is scaling operations while maintaining customer retention and healthy unit economics.
