Swiggy Launches EV Battery-Swapping Stations at 25 Instamart Pods for Delivery Partners

Swiggy is bringing electric mobility closer to India's last-mile delivery workforce. The company has launched battery-swapping stations across **25 Instamart pods**, while also introducing EV rental services that allow delivery partners to access electric two-wheelers from the same locations where they collect customer orders. The initiative is designed to make electric vehicles more accessible and reduce the time delivery partners spend travelling to charging or vehicle collection points.

Announced at Swiggy's EV Mobility Conclave on November 4, the initiative has been developed with ecosystem partners including Yulu, Bounce, Indofast Energy, Baaz Bikes and Yuma Energy. By integrating vehicle rentals and battery swapping into its existing delivery infrastructure, Swiggy aims to make EV adoption more convenient for delivery partners while supporting cleaner last-mile logistics.
