Bengaluru-Built Inkle Acquires Finally’s Bookkeeping Business

Founded by Anand Krishna and Ranvir Singh, Bengaluru-built accounting technology company Inkle has acquired the bookkeeping division of US-based financial operations platform Finally in an all-cash deal. The acquisition brings approximately 100 employees into Inkle, taking its workforce to around 160 people across five countries. The company combines a US-licensed accounting practice with software and AI developed by its Bengaluru team.

The acquisition expands Inkle’s reach beyond venture-backed startups to a wider range of US small businesses, including contractors, clinics, restaurants and professional services firms. Existing Finally bookkeeping customers will continue working with their current teams, now using Inkle’s platform. The deal marks Inkle’s first acquisition as it scales its AI-powered accounting and bookkeeping services.
