onto, a Bengaluru-based travel-tech startup, has launched its platform after raising $1 million in pre-seed funding led by Stargazer Fund and co-led by White Venture Capital. Its first feature, Price Drop Refund, tracks hotel prices after booking and automatically refunds eligible travellers when the same room and dates become available at a lower price.

The startup plans to use the funding to scale operations, strengthen its technology infrastructure and develop new travel products. Onto is also building towards a more personalised, AI-led travel experience, with the goal of making the journey simpler for travellers even after they have booked.
