Digital lending startup Moneyview reported a sharp rise in profitability, with its net profit climbing more than fivefold to ₹201 crore in Q2. The performance marks a significant improvement from the corresponding quarter last year.
However, the year-on-year comparison also reflects a one-time cyber-incident loss of ₹47.95 crore in Q2 FY26. The incident involved unauthorised withdrawals of ₹48.32 crore from subsidiary Whizdm Finance through an API linked to banking partners. The latest results highlight Moneyview’s improved financial performance while bringing attention to the importance of cybersecurity in digital lending.
