Pragyanik AI Develops Avighna X1 Lite, An AI-Powered Farm Robot For Precision Agriculture

Indore-based agritech startup Pragyanik AI is developing Avighna X1 Lite, a compact autonomous farm robot designed to handle weeding, targeted spraying, seeding and fertiliser application. The 4x4 battery-powered prototype combines AI vision, GNSS-RTK positioning and LiDAR to identify weeds, navigate crop rows and detect obstacles.

Designed for small and mid-sized Indian farms, the robot features modular attachments, an adjustable working width and a reported runtime of 8–10 hours per charge. By enabling precision operations instead of blanket spraying, Avighna X1 Lite aims to help farmers reduce manual effort and improve resource efficiency. The product is still under testing, with commercial performance yet to be established.
