mFilterIt Takes Down Over 2 Lakh Festive Scam Assets After Flagging 2.4 Lakh Fraudulent Cases

Over 2.4 lakh fraudulent digital assets targeting customers of a single Indian bank were identified during the festive season. mFilterIt, a digital trust and ad-fraud intelligence company, reported uncovering fake websites, phishing pages, impersonation accounts and deceptive offers across 10 digital platforms.

The company said it successfully took down more than 2 lakh fraudulent assets, with 80–85% of takedowns completed within 24 hours of detection. The findings highlight how continuous digital monitoring and proactive brand protection are becoming increasingly important as online scams grow more sophisticated during high-traffic shopping seasons.
