SEDEMAC Q2: Revenue Jumps 40% To ₹400.6 Cr, Profit Rises 30% To ₹39.2 Cr

SEDEMAC’s revenue grew four times faster than its pre-tax profit this quarter. The auto electronics maker reported a net profit of ₹39.2 crore for Q2 FY27, up 30% from ₹30.1 crore a year earlier, while revenue from operations rose 40% to ₹400.6 crore from ₹286.5 crore. Profit before tax rose 12% to ₹50.5 crore, with a lower tax charge of ₹11.4 crore, against ₹14.9 crore a year earlier, supporting net profit growth.

The mobility segment grew 53% to ₹366.4 crore, while the industrial segment fell 26% to ₹34.3 crore. SEDEMAC sold a record 1,452,867 control-intensive ECUs in the quarter, up 37.5% year on year, according to its announcement. For the first half, revenue rose 41% to ₹710.4 crore and net profit rose 54% to ₹72.5 crore, though operating cash flow was negative ₹20.4 crore, against a positive ₹120.7 crore a year earlier.
