Unify Foodworks Raises ₹5 Crore to Scale Moe's and Carvel Across India

Unify Foodworks, the exclusive pan-India master franchisee for US-based food brands Moe's Casa Mexicana and Carvel, has raised ₹5 crore in a seed funding round backed by Atrium Ventures, Sail Thru Ventures, Arjun Vaidya and Abhishek Goyal. The funding was raised through compulsorily convertible debentures (CCDs). Founded by Sumer Sethi, the company manages the brands' expansion, store operations and localisation for Indian consumers.

The company plans to use the capital to strengthen both brands across Delhi-NCR, while improving store density, supply chain infrastructure and operating processes. Unify Foodworks has a long-term target of building a network of more than 100 stores across India. Its strategy is to establish a repeatable operating model in NCR before expanding into additional markets.
