ideaForge Returns To Profit In Q2 As Revenue Jumps 124% To ₹91.3 Cr
ideaForge is back in profit as its revenue more than doubled. The drone maker reported a net profit of ₹6.5 crore for Q2 FY27, against a loss of ₹19.6 crore a year earlier and a ₹2.6 crore loss in the previous quarter. Operating revenue rose 124% to ₹91.3 crore from ₹40.8 crore, up about 33% from the June quarter. EBITDA was ₹23.2 crore, against an EBITDA loss of ₹8 crore a year earlier, lifting the margin to 25.4%. Defence applications accounted for 72% of revenue and civil applications for 28%.
The company says it entered FY27 with an order book of more than ₹300 crore, half of which was executed in the first half of the year. It also says it has secured ₹151 crore from the Technology Development Board through the RDI Fund to develop YETI, a logistics drone designed to carry payloads of up to 200 kg.
