Mohalla Tech Crosses ₹1,016 Crore Revenue as Micro-Dramas Fuel Growth

Mohalla Tech, the parent company of ShareChat, Moj and QuickTV, reported a 40% increase in operating revenue to ₹1,016 crore in FY26, compared with ₹723 crore in the previous financial year. A major contributor was its expansion into micro-drama entertainment, with subscription revenue from QuickTV and Moj+ reaching ₹293 crore in their first full year. The company has turned short, episodic storytelling into a significant business opportunity, adding a new revenue stream alongside its established advertising and live-streaming operations.

The company also narrowed its adjusted EBITDA loss by 58% to ₹91 crore in FY26, compared with ₹219 crore a year earlier. Its performance improved further in FY27, with two consecutive EBITDA-positive quarters and four consecutive quarters of positive cash flow, according to the company. Mohalla Tech is now targeting its first full year of EBITDA profitability in FY27. Its growth highlights how Indian digital platforms are exploring new ways to monetise audiences through emerging entertainment formats.
