Pune-based Jagruti Rehabilitation Center Centre has raised ₹28 crore in its Series A funding round, led by Delhi-based Alkemi Growth Capital. Founded in 2008 by psychiatrist Dr. Amar Shinde and Vijaya Shinde, the organisation provides mental healthcare, addiction treatment and dementia care. It currently operates more than 19 centres across nine cities, with over 1,600 beds and a team of more than 40 doctors.

The fresh capital will support expansion into new locations, increased clinical capacity, specialised care programmes and stronger partnerships with insurers and corporate organisations. Jagruti aims to grow its network to more than 40 centres and 4,000 beds across Tier I and Tier II cities over the next three to four years, expanding access to organised rehabilitation and mental healthcare services.
