Indian healthtech startup Docterz has raised ₹5 crore from approximately 35 investors, with nearly 60% of the funding coming from doctors who actively use its platform. Around 20 doctor-users contributed close to ₹3 crore, alongside investors including Vineeta Singh, Co-founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics, and Avnish Anand, Co-founder and former CEO of CaratLane.

Founded by practising paediatrician Dr. Atish Laddad, Docterz provides an integrated platform for electronic medical records, appointment scheduling, billing, vaccination management and patient engagement. Its technology supports more than 5,000 doctors across India. The fresh capital will help the company expand its reach, explore acquisitions and develop practical AI-powered tools to simplify everyday clinical and administrative tasks for doctors.
