A preventive healthcare startup from Practo co-founder Shashank ND has raised $15 million. Cent closed a Series A round co-led by Blume Ventures and South Park Commons, and has also acquired AI radiology platform Medsee.

Cent focuses on early disease detection through medical imaging, biomarkers and artificial intelligence. Its screening protocol combines full-body MRI, low-dose CT, DEXA, ECG, ECHO and more than 100 biomarkers in a single session of about two hours. It runs its own centres in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi NCR alongside partner labs, and says around 10,000 people were screened over the past year. The funds will go toward hardware, AI and clinical research.
