AI startup Different has emerged from stealth with $48 million in seed funding, led by General Catalyst with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners and other investors. The company is building an AI-powered marketing system that helps B2B businesses plan, launch and optimise campaigns across advertising, email and content channels.

Different brings together expertise across AI, product development and marketing technology. Its founding team includes Ajeet Singh, Abhishek Pani and Abhinav Yajurvedi, with experience spanning ThoughtSpot, Adobe, Flipkart and Myntra. The fresh funding will support the company’s engineering and go-to-market expansion.
