IIT Bombay Launches National Network To Support Emerging Startups

IIT Bombay’s Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE) launched a national Hub-and-Spoke initiative to strengthen India’s startup incubation ecosystem through institutional collaboration, shared resources and improved access to capital.

Nagpur has been selected as the first regional hub under the initiative, with VNIT Nagpur among its institutional partners. The network aims to connect emerging startups with specialised laboratories, expert mentorship, industry networks and potential investors. SINE plans to gradually expand the model to other cities and states, with a focus on technology and deep-tech ventures.
