Virat Kohli's stake in Bengaluru-based Agilitas Sports has increased from 1.8% to 6.4% following the merger of his sportswear brand one8 with the company. Kohli had earlier invested ₹40 crore in Agilitas, and the increase in his shareholding comes through the merger rather than a fresh investment. The integration brings one8 into Agilitas' sportswear ecosystem, providing access to capabilities in product development, design, research, manufacturing and retail.

The merger marks a significant step in Agilitas' ambition to build one8 into a global high-performance sportswear brand originating from India. The company plans to expand into additional sporting categories and international markets, including the US, UK, Canada and Australia. With brands and businesses such as Lotto and Mochiko Shoes in its portfolio, Agilitas is working towards building a broader presence in the global sportswear industry.
