Indian skincare startup ISLAND BEAUTY, co-founded by singer and actor Shirley Setia, has raised ₹2.58 crore from early-stage investor AJ VC. Founded in 2023, the brand combines Korean skincare ingredients with formulations developed in India to address local skin needs and climatic conditions. Its product portfolio includes cleansers, toners, serums, moisturisers and lip care.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen product development, increase brand awareness and expand customer acquisition. Built around its proprietary Core Barrier Matrix, ISLAND Beauty aims to grow its presence in India's evolving skincare market while expanding its product range over the next three years.
