Hardware engineering may be getting its own AI agent.

Hardware engineering may be getting its own AI agent. CopperPilot, a startup building an AI agent for electronics design with an engineering hub in Bengaluru, has raised $390,000 in pre-seed funding led by Neon Fund, with participation from US-based angel investors. It was founded in October 2025 by @Aditya Ng, Mohit Bagur and Anish Harsha, and alongside the funding it released the first version of its design agent, Epsilon.
CopperPilot’s agent takes a plain-language description and works toward a circuit board design, inside tools engineers already use, starting with KiCad. The company says it designed an eight-layer board for a Raspberry Pi AI camera in about 30 minutes, and that its weekly active users have risen 25-fold since August. Both are company claims.
